The office is open during this coronavirus pandemic, and we invite you to call us for all of your medical needs. The physicians can do telemedicine consultations for most issues and can decide if coming in is the best option. Guidelines set forth by the Maryland Department of Health are in place to keep the office as safe as possible for patients. The office will screen all patients and if symptoms are suspicious for CoVid-19, they are directed to the proper screening centers.
At IMCC we continue to follow the guidelines issued by CDC regarding the response to Covid -19. If you are concerned you may have symptoms consistent with Covid -19 you should contact us first so we can evaluate and triage based on your symptoms. This does not apply in an emergency situation – when you should call 911.
It is important to remember that in this difficult time there are many other medical conditions that should not be ignored. Chronic medical conditions such as hypertension and diabetes still need to be managed, and other acute illnesses need to be treated.
IMCC remains your first point of contact for these health related issues as we strive to decrease the burden on overworked ER’s and hospitals.
We will remain open per CDC guidelines, and are working to maintain an environment that minimizes your risk of infection and allows your other health conditions to be appropriately managed.

Is it safe to go to the doctor?
The media are reporting that fewer people are going to their medical appointments or seeking medical help, out of concern about COVID-19 the disease caused by the coronavirus that is led to the global pandemic. Even emergency rooms across the country are seeing fewer patients for serious health problems, such as heart attack, stroke, and acute appendicitis.
But doctors note that waiting too long to get help for life-threatening conditions can be more dangerous than infection with the new coronavirus.
“People are trying to observe physical distancing and avoiding unnecessary exposure, such as going to the grocery store,” he says. “But in terms of medical care, providers are worried, since ignoring serious signs and symptoms can be dangerous.”

I am a 75 year old, Vietnam Veteran. Between my three quarter of a century on this planet, I've seen a lot of physicians, civilian and military. However, it took me 55 years to find the very best.
Dr. Pasquale Santini has been my primary care physician for over two decades. He has been available to me regardless of his or my location. If I needed a prescription in Arizona, he made it happen. If I needed a prescription while he was on vacation in Italy, he made it happen. I'm convinced that he'd have come to my home if I'd asked.
During office visits and or my annual physicals he always takes as much time as I need to be comfortable with his diagnosis or test results. If you're in need of a PCP in the Washington DC metro area, you couldn't find a better doctor.
I always say, Dr. Santini is like Dunkin Donuts, always open and...worth the trip!

I cannot say enough good things about this doctor .Dr Duke calls, listens, is accurate and much more accessible than most doctors. The fact that you don't need to make a second trip for lab work is huge. You pay labcorp 10-25 - he saves you the time and travel. He only started charging this year. So review #2 needs to check out a few other, less caring, practices and i think they are in for a rude awakening.I am surprised at how kind Dr. Duke is - not found often in the medical community today. I would recommend him to anyone.( vitals )
